racelottery.io is operated by Dead Reckoning Labs, Inc. (deadreckoninglabs.com) on behalf of race organizers such as Aravaipa Running. By using racelottery.io, or by applying to a lottery that runs on it, you agree to these terms. Each race's own entry rules, waiver and policies still apply, and they control if they conflict with these terms.

The service

racelottery.io runs weighted entry lotteries for oversubscribed races. It verifies ticket credits, publishes the applicant list and estimated odds, and conducts the draw. The organizer sets the lottery rules, eligibility, ticket weighting, number of spots and draw date, and may change them. Registration and payment happen on the organizer's registration platform, not on racelottery.io.

Your application

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you submit, including prior finishes and volunteer service. Ticket credits count only once verified. The organizer may withhold credits, disqualify or withdraw an application that is inaccurate, duplicated or ineligible under its rules.

Public listing

Lotteries on racelottery.io are public by design. Applying means your name, gender, city and state, ticket count, verified prior finishes, odds and draw result may be shown on the race's lottery page, in the live draw and on its broadcast. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what is shown and how to ask that your name be hidden.

Odds and results

Odds shown before the draw are estimates from repeated simulations of the draw, and can change as applications are verified or withdrawn. They are not a guarantee of any outcome. The official result is the draw the organizer designates as official. Entry is confirmed only when you complete registration with the organizer by its deadline.

Acceptable use

Do not interfere with the service, attempt to access operator tools or data you are not authorized to use, or scrape or bulk-collect applicant information. We may block access that does.

Disclaimers

racelottery.io is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We work to keep it accurate and available, especially on draw day, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dead Reckoning Labs, Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and decisions about race entry rest with the organizer.

Changes

We may modify or discontinue the service or these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
